Barmoor, Hutton-Le-Hole
Yoga Weekend Retreat

Friday 9th May - Sunday 11th May 2025

Overview

Barmoor is a beautiful large Edwardian house set within stunning landscape and surrounded by the North Yorkshire moors. Built by a Quaker family in 1908 in the Arts & Crafts style, it was used as a holiday retreat by the family until it was turned into a charitable trust so that more people could benefit from its use as a retreat space.

The house offers a very simple way of living with no frills; all the bedrooms contain single beds with a pillow and duvet but you will need to bring your own bedding. Big sofas, open fires, lots of quiet nooks to retreat into, large windows and amazing views all encourage you to relax.

All the yoga sessions are optional - join in as much or as little as you like.

Joyce, Online Attendee

Gillian’s classes are a joy to attend. She is a superb yoga teacher with a calming voice and inner beauty. She is sensitive to individual needs but manages, even online, to create a real sense of shared space. I cannot recommend her too highly.
