The classes at York Univeristy are for University employees and students only. There is no charge - so come along and join in!

When & Where
General Yoga
Wednesdays 8.15am - 9am
Mindful Yoga (starting 28 Feb)
Fridays 8.15am - 9am
Classes are held in The Treehouse, Berrick Saul Building.

Overview
General Yoga involves moving the body through sequences and practicing postures to energise and strengthen.
Mindful Yoga is a more gentle practice, with a special focus on the mind and relaxation.

Prices
These classes are free of charge. You need to be a university employee or student to attend.
Megan Russell manages these sessions and has a google group specifically for the yoga classes. If you join the google group you will be notified of any room changes or class cancellations. Please email Megan to join this group: megan.russell@york.ac.uk

I've just completed Gillian's Beginners Yoga class and I'm so sad it ended! I will definitely be back for more of her sessions as it's been a wonderfully nurturing environment to spend time in.
I've done other courses before (all good) but this has been the best one by far. It was much more than learning about poses, but meditation, nidra and taking care of your well-being. Gillian is such a considerate teacher, who worked hard to make each class work for all her students. I highly recommend Gillian's classes and I can't wait to take part again.
